As a student, this software is incredibly invasive. Although they claim it is "secure and safe", it doesn't give students any feelings of security, forcing you to alter things on your PERSONAL computer such as disconnecting external devices, such as monitors or hard drives and recording your screen, not just in your browser but whole computer. This means when I sit an exam that uses other software outside of the browser like file explorer, they can see ALL your files. I am considering leaving my institution solely on the fact I have to use this software.

If you are a professor don't use this use anything but this, this is terrible. To give an example, the program had a problem with my webcam even though it worked perfectly fine and even after I: restarted, updated my computer, and checked and rechecked my webcam. This is a terrible extension that causes innumerable problems, heck the IT people could not problem solve this thing.

Why do I have to scan my room each time I take a quiz or exam??? How is making students showing their teachers and professors their rooms preventing cheating? The mic and camera should be enough, I don't know anyone who can stand by a corner and be able to communicate answers without making a sound loud enough that a mic won't be able to pick it up, unless they're doing it telepathically.

Pésimo, nos obligan a usar proctorio en la universidad para rendir exámenes online y desde el primer uso he tenido puros contratiempos, ahora llevo todo el día esperando rendir un examen pero el programa no deja acceder a la plataforma, lo único que hace es complejizar más algo que debiera ser mucho más simple y automático, me metí aquí exclusivamente a leer opiniones y a dejar mi mala experiencia para que las universidades abran los ojos y se den cuenta que este programa NO SIRVE, es una capa más de estorbo para la pruebas y para nosotros los alumnos no aporta nada más que contratiempo y estrés que se podrían evitar eliminando este programa del "protocolo", cambiarlo por otro mejor o sencillamente buscar otras maneras de verificar identidad, lo más sencillo creo yo es un examen con video llamada donde el profesor supervisa a los alumnos desde el monitor de su computador, y ya está.

Every time I have to use this extension I have to delete it and reinstall it. Super inconvenient, doesn't work well.
