This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colors, making them high contrast and easy to read at night.

You can adjust the brightness, contrast, sepia filter, dark mode, font settings and the ignore-list.

Walter-KEMBLE WellBredNfed 2022-05-12 This WAS a FIVE STAR extension. I've used it in Chrome & Safari for years & contributed $$ I was so pleased. Recently, the icon has disappeared from the Chrome toolbar. It's still visible in Safari. I need Chrome for certain sites AND I NEED to be able to attenuate & toggle Dark Reader. Without this ability it's useless to me. I have written support twice and received no reply. When I am notified that this glitch is fixed or given a way to fix it I will be delighted to return the rating to FIVE STARS. XoXo
Ryan Phipps 2022-05-11 This is a fantastic extension and helps keep me from going blind/getting a migraine. I just wish text font & background colors didn't get inverted when I copy/paste.
