Do not get unless you like pop ups, and the web extension says. it "protects you" but I went on some pretty sketchy websites and it said they were safe. Just do not get it. |

This is adware at best, malware at worst, I'm not keeping it installed to find out. Not even sure how my mother found it. All it's done so far is pop-up ads warning her about her PC being insecure or a dark web scan showing concerning results, both of which are likely based on nothing and designed to push her to pay for their services. I've reported this to Google. Do not install this. If you're on Windows, you already have security software that is surely superior to this, in that it functions immediately and doesn't spam you for a subscription. If that isn't enough, look into security software with an actual reputation, not some Chrome adware/malware plugin. |

Slows you computer way down....stops teh loading of pages until it has checked them all... then they ask for money for upgrade... if upgrade does the same as the free one it will never happen for me. |

Total web shield is ok. I can't my banking site without turning it off. that's why it gets 4 stars. I have it on my phone. continuing getting spam calls. |
