An easy to use speech synthesis and recognition tool for your browser!

Speech to Text (Voice Recognition) is an extension that helps you convert your speech to text.

It can recognize a wide variety of languages and related dialects. In order to work with this extension, simply open the addon's UI and then press on the big microphone icon to start converting your voice to text. Please note that, when the add-on is first started, it asks for microphone permission. Please accept the permission to start working with the add-on.

All the captured text is placed in the top text-area within the UI. In order to copy the text, use (Ctrl + C) keyboard combination. This add-on has no background activities when it is closed. Moreover, it does not need an internet connection for operation.

Mark Zanetti 2022-04-28 I wish I could use the extension to dictate this review. It doesn't work as a Vivaldi Browser extension. However, it worked with Chrome to dictate voice to text directly into Google Keep docs and also Google Documents. So thats a good thing. There is a delay (for me) but not too bad.

Liqi Liang 2022-03-15 Audio captures are accurate but the program needs a lot of improvements, There is no way to scroll down easily. When I am at multiscreen and put the window of the extension on the side or just make it small, it will stop scrolling down when the text box display is full. large space is wasted at the bottom portion of the extension displaying instructions too.
Chan Kim 2022-03-07 Simple enough to use. Very good for students who are struggling with penmenship/dyslexia. The highlighted existing text deleting when you start recording again is fairly annoying and would change. No complaints other than that!
