Sometimes it doesn't open when recording. It glitches on many things. So annoying

It took me two days to create a video because the editor is so slow and breaks so easily. I download my video to upload to Youtube, and the emojis don't show up. They're just boxes. Not to mention the fact this extension crashed my laptop multiple times.

I have been experiencing many problems, and when I reach to customer support I get outrageous answers. For example, extension is authorized to access Google drive, and days after having uploaded a video it is still not processed/viewable. Customer rep tells me "This sounds like your Screencastify account and Google Drive account need to be resynced" So I wonder... is she talking about a partial sync? I guess the sync is good enough to upload the videos, but not enough for the videos to be processed... Are we talking about a partial sync? Like 50% sync? hummmm.... so synching is not a boolean (you are synched or not) we are talking about degrees...

I wrote the above paragraph because just today I experienced another problem, and I will reach out to support, and if it is possible, I will publish the answer here. The problem I am experiencing today is that I am disabled from exporting the Screencastify video of this extension which is configured to save videos in my local drive (i.e., not on Google drive). The tooltip "Autosave to Google Drive must be enabled" appears when I hover the grayed out "export" link. This video illustrates my experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5XP_NIrN54

I first realized I was unable to export the video that I configured to be saved "On My Local Device" (setting with legend "On my local device Videos will be saved locally. Uninstalling Screencastify or Chrome, or removing your Chrome user account will delete videos unless you've exported them. Not recommended on ChromeOS.") when I was trying to export a video that shows ANOTHER ANNOMALY; the dubious export of "undefined" video that results when I failed to stop Screencastify and closed Chrome. This morning, the user interface changed, and today I see a drawer to "export" videos. This "Exports" drawer is a second alternative to the original Download file link I have been presented since I started using this extension. I have been completely disabled from accessing locally saved videos, even when I am connected to the internet.

When I paste URL chrome-extension://mmeijimgabbpbgpdklnllpncmdofkcpn/app.html#/files or chrome-extension://mmeijimgabbpbgpdklnllpncmdofkcpn/app.html into the Chrome browser, I am redirected to https://app.screencastify.com/videos

This video illustrates how I am recording a Screencastify video, stopped it, and when I go to https://app.screencastify.com/videos, the video is missing. So unable to access the library of videos that were stored locally and forced to access the cloud library that excludes the videos that were stored locally (i.e., the one I have just created during this video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sku09fcq2HU

I loved Screencastify before the update. Now I cant save files locally, and the upload to Disk is a mess. Please fix the local save option! This is unusable.
