Be aware that only SANE-compatible Scanners will work out of the box for now since Lorgnette relies on the open-source project SANE ("Scanner Access Now Easy"). Therefore make sure your document scanner is in the list before.

Ronald van Dijken 2022-05-08 Ik heb meerdere Canon Lide scanners. Ze komen allemaal voor in de lijst van SANE (en werken in de Linux Ubuntu-achtigen dan ook 'out-of-the-box'). Ze werken echter niet in Chrome OS. Heel jammer. je kunt dan wel een scan met je camera maken, maar dat blijft ondermaats en toch behelpen. Zonder goed kunnen printen en scannen blijft Chrome OS een besturingssysteem 'voor erbij'. Met de mogelijkheid om te printen en te scannen had ik het als hoofd besturingssysteem kunnen gebruiken.

egér Macska 2022-04-23 Works amazing with my HP InkTank Wireless over wifi. One thing that I would like to see though is being able to change which scanner to use.
c chrome 2021-09-23 worked with epson 2760 wifi, had tried many things and only scan worked. puts files in sub-folder 'scan' in downloads (note: need to open download folder to see it)
Trevor Bartram 2021-09-07 Scan worked with our Canon LiDE110 scanner but needs a multi page option just like my Ubuntu SANE document scanner app!
