Rosemary McGowan 2022-03-12 I am updating my 2016 review in which I talked about some issues but also mentioned that the app was well worth it even with issues. Now today I can't get Mic Note to link with Google Drive but I have it linked to Dropbox so I do have my files in the cloud and I can sync across my laptops. I would like to see this app in Google Play Store. Also I would like to see it updated. I'm afraid this app will stop working or no longer available as it is in the Chrome Web Store right now. This app is the only one I have found works for me. Allow me to explain my use and perhaps someone with the know how can update or let us users know of an alternative. I use the app for learning Spanish. Specifically I create output in text first in English and typed in the text section. Then I create text in Spanish. Once done I then record it in Spanish. I won't go further into detail because I have more steps. The tools for the audio, eg timestamp is useful as well. Maybe I should do a video because it's too complicated to get into here. This is something every language learner could make use of and I don't see it being used to its greatest potential. How do I get that message out? And how do I get someone to update it and improve things like the Google Drive link. I have seen others losing all their notes which must be so frustrating. It shouldn't happen if we are saving files in the Google Drive or Dropbox. If anyone know of another app allowing text to be saved and audio recordings with similiar controls, please let us know but in the meantime I sincerely hope this app if given a new life. It has all the bases covered, yes it could use some improvements but I don't know how. It could be updated to use audio to create text in a foreign language to practice speaking. So much potential. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BECOME OBSOLETE. Forgot to mention I'm a Pro User and would continue to provide support if it was updated and expanded.
