This extension allows you to select a word or phrase on a website and to look it up in the LEO dictionary by simply pressing a keyboard shortcut. The dictionary pops up conveniently in the upper right corner inside your browser window. It does not open a new tab or window.
The shortcut defaults to Alt+W, however you can set it to virtually any shortcut in the options page. The language defaults to German - English and can also be configured in the options page.
Available languages are:
English ⇔ German
French ⇔ German
Spanish ⇔ German
Italian ⇔ German
Chinese ⇔ German
Russian ⇔ German
Portuguese ⇔ German
Polish ⇔ German

** NOTICE **
For existing users the shortcut changed from Alt+Q to Alt+W. I am sorry if this caused you any inconvenience, however it was necessary as the old shortcut caused a lot of trouble for some users.

I really liked the extension, but recently the cookies acceptance dialog box is covering the dictionary windows that open up, and I have to manually close the cookies information window first before I can look up the meaning. It is really irritating doing it over and over again. |

Ecerytime i open the translator a cookie message appears. Every sigle time. Also the display is not really as shown in the pictures. It opens the whole page and is very troublesome to get into the part of the page that contains the traslation. I don't recommend it and will remove right away. |

It is a great idea, but needs improvement in the implementation. A resizable window would be an awesome start, so that we don't need to scroll to find the results. |

Very handy widget. For people who have troubles to scroll through the whole window, switch to the mobile version that appears as notification! |
