Any person who is responsible for the production of this extension is ignorant to an astounding degree or simply an anti-semitic nazi. I get the joke-- [Inglourious Basterds]-- they even used an 'e' in grammar where it should have been an 'a'; I'm not missing the point. I take extreme insult from their blatant use of Nazi symbology to identify their extension. It may have been designed and deployed as a coy reference to a film but the developers were woefully incognizant of what exactly it means to co opt a symbol for your own use. At the very least it is implied support for, in this scenario, Nazi ideology. It could also just as easily be interpreted as deep respect and admiration. Put simply it's a really bad joke and needs to be changed. |
