Cant seem to highlight pages sent to my through canvas for class nor when I open a PDF that is saved on my computer. Both of those reasons are what I needed it for the most unfortunately. However, works on most other pages I tried so three stars from me.

Amazing how hard it was to find a tool like this that works.

Select text, Alt-H, it's highlighted. Mouse over highlighted text, a bubble appears offering: copy, colour, and delete highlight.

So simple. Thank you.

fixed all the problems I had with the previous version. double clicking highlights only the world and not the space after it. purple was changed to a much more pleasant shade, and you can even change the shade manually. great extension!
