Used to use this all the time, but it has been broken since June '21 with no sign of any updates. Had to un-install.

It's unfortunate, but this extension no longer works. For those looking for an alternative, the NightEye extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/night-eye-dark-mode-on-an/alncdjedloppbablonallfbkeiknmkdi?hl=en) works well to keep my Google Chat in Dark Mode, both in the Web App version as well as on chat.google.com.

I'd give this extension a 4 or 5 star rating if it was updated, but as it stands now, it's unusable due to the room names being illegible until you click them, and the body of conversations not being dark. I'm sure it's because Google made a bunch of changes to the Chat UI a few months ago and the developer hasn't updated it since. Hopefully he or she comes back and makes the requisite changes or finds someone else who can...
