This is an awful extension and an ever worse practice by employers. If a company is having you use this software as an interview tool, you should seriously consider if it the kind of place you would like to work. This application speaks volumes in that a company is only willing to invest the least amount of time possible to find people who can regurgitate code. Interviews are a 2-way street - as developers we need to be invested in working together to solve problems - this app loudly states that the company you are interviewing with does not care about you in the slightest. |
