This extension will show an unread count badge on a webpage's icon. It will work on all pages whose page title contains a number in parentheses. This is especially useful for pinned tabs.

This is perfect. Thank you very much Mr Tilman. No idea why Google don't make this by default. They're quite often utterly clueless from the user point of view.

Useful, save for the all-too-often time that a website uses the four-digit year in brackets in the page's title.

Was hoping this worked with Feedly, but doesn't seem to.

I like the Icon choice, nothing wrong with its visibility or readability.

Actually works unlike the others, but it'd be nice to be able to change the badge to something more traditional like a red one.

Also, deal-breaker, it resamples all retina favicons down to blocky lo-res on retina Macs.
