AudioXout

Features: AudioXout is now able to remember and retain the previously chosen sound output.

Purpose: choose a default audio output device in Chrome for media playback.

How to: Click on the extension icon and choose the output device on the website you want to play audio out of.

Note: you will need to authorize the microphone permission that pops up due to chrome restrictions. Once you have done so choose the device again and it will work with the current site in the open chrome tab.

I made this as a fix-up package for the currently broken "AudioPick" Extension. All credits go to the "AudioPick" developers for the original code.

J L. 2022-03-27 Just here to comment that it still works, sometimes it takes a few seconds before the tab registers the change in sound output before it changes so give it some time. I also restarted my device like another review suggested (though I'm not sure if that was the cause/help) and have also allowed microphone access to the website - which I believe is necessary. Thanks for fixing it, this helps a lot

NeonDjProducer 2022-03-14 Funciona al seleccionar el dispositivo de salida sin problemas, pero tienes que seleccionar nuevamente cada que inicias el navegador. Ojala tengan actualizaciones y mejoren aun mas esta extensión. Cabe indicar es la única que esta en funcionamiento en su rubro. MARZO 2022.
Frank Cantafio 2022-02-26 I installed this extension last night and was disappointed because it didn't work! I even reloaded Chrome, but nothing happened However, the next day after a full shutdown overnight and restart today it works! I absolutely love it! It works great on my Mac. I'm saying this for the people who might give up too quickly like I almost did! A much needed extension when you need to route audio in Chrome.
