“Read and change all your data on the websites you visit”
Shown for permissions needed for supplying password manager features to all types of pages you browse.
“Read your browsing history”
Shown for permissions needed for:
- automatically opening and close new tabs when opening the vault, displaying vault contents, or auto changing a password.
- examining webpages, you browse to display product controls in the webpage itself (badges in form fields, popup windows with lists of logins, etc.)
“Modify data you copy and paste”
Shown for permissions needed for giving convenient clipboard usage of user-selected vault data (e.g. a login's username or password).
“Display notifications”

When it works it works well, which is probably about 75% of the time. However, it will very often not let me access my vault—when I try to select "access vault" in the Norton app, I'll get the message "Sorry something went wrong please try again". A lot of times restarting your computer works (which itself can be a huge inconvenience depending on what you're doing and what you have open), but sometimes it doesn't help and you get the same error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything before, which helped for a bit, but problems came back. And it's not reasonable to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling to get it to work. Also, every once in a while, if you're using the phone app either to access your password vault or for mobile unlock, it will suddenly require you to put in your Norton password for some reason (not your password vault password, unless you make them the same), which further slows you down if you don't have it totally memorized. These problems have caused me to be late to meetings, which is obviously a huge problem. A smaller problem is that sometimes it doesn't recognize username/password forms on websites so you don't have the option to autofill. I've had this for probably around a year now, and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. |

The chrome extension doesn't work consistently. I have to remove and reinstall it every time I reboot. When it works it's great, but when it doesn't it just shows a blank page when trying to access the vault. |

Consistently does not work on my PC. Spoke with Norton and did the uninstall - reinstall thing, worked for maybe a day then broken again. Same issue on any browser. Useless on my PC. Terrible product. |

今朝から動かなくなってますね。昨晩PCつけっぱなしで寝てたけど朝デスクトップへノートンアイコン増えてたので何かしらの更新があったんだと思うけどchrome拡張の方は更新はないし停止の通知などもない。パスワード預けてるのよ…？？ |
