When you add Consciously, you’ll get a message that says we can “read and change all your data on the websites you visit.” This is a notification from your browser that we cannot edit. For Consciously to work, we must read your website (your data), meaning read your Amazon product page so we can identify the name of the product you are viewing in order to share information about that product. Changing the data on your website means that a pop-up appears in the corner of your screen, which is where the company data is shared. We wish we could make this notification less confusing!

I have been using more animal tested products than I thought! This is a wonderful addition when doing research. Surprisingly, there are a lot of brands that aren't super expensive. There are some brands that the Extension says they don't have much information on. But then that's where old fashioned research comes in. I really like this Google Extension! I am making SO many changes around my house :) |
